Second phase of the Nielsen Hall Addition and Renovation project, which includes an addition containing 61,000 square feet of space and provides some associated interior renovation of the existing building. The addition, at the southeast corner of the building, contains a basement and three above-ground stories. Teaching labs and support spaces are on the basement level, and faculty offices, a three-story atrium and support spaces are included on the first through third floors.

 

· Matherly mechanical provided complete HVAC and plumbing systems for the new addition and renovation.

· Included upgrading and adding new laboratory fume hoods with Phoenix VAV  air control venture valves.

· Also added a new Strobic Air fan with thermal recovery coils for energy conservation.
